Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
The ideal candidate must be very organized, proactive and flexible in order to adapt to a changing academic and clinical environment. The candidate must have good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Supervisory and managerial skills are essential in the position as well. Must be knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Office. Institutional knowledge of UAB Oracle HR and Finance, PeopleAmin, Kronos, Taleo, IRAP, Axiom, and familiar with clinical reports.
The ideal candidate must also have a solid foundation in human resources and fiscal affairs in an academic setting is preferred. Must be able to multitask, maintain confidentiality and work at a fast pace in a department with multiple divisions and numerous faculty, staff, residents and students.
